Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Los Gatos, California, SA Photonics is a pioneer in the development and deployment of innovative photonics solutions for commercial and government customers. Due to its success in the SBIR program, SA Photonics was awarded the Tibbetts Award in 2011. This annual award recognizes excellence among the hundreds of companies participating in the SBIR program, and was awarded to SA Photonics for representing the spirit and intent of the program.
Over the past 16 years, SA Photonics has focused its efforts to four key areas: free space optical communication, head-word displays and vision systems, fiber lasers, and optical sensors. In each area, industry-leading technology continues propels the company to the forefront, both within government and commercial applications.
