Chief Operating Officer, Communications & Sensing

Mustafa Veziroglu heads the Communications and Sensing Division for SA Photonics and leads Program Management, System Architecture, Sales & Marketing and Manufacturing Operations. Under his leadership, SA Photonics is focused on developing and commercializing world leading solutions in Free Space Optical (FSO) communications for terrestrial, underwater, airborne and space-based commercial and military applications. In addition, he is leading the division’s successful SBIR activities in high power microwave sensors, lidar systems and high power supercontinuum lasers.

Mr. Veziroglu came to SA Photonics in 2017 with a history of launching generations of new products to market and successfully growing them into billion dollar solutions. After 15+ years of holding executive level positions at Xilinx and Lattice Semi—where he successfully grew company revenue, profitability and market share—Mustafa’s leadership brought record growth to SA Photonics’ C&S division. He has led successful bids for several major government contracts, including DARPA’s Blackjack satellite program, USAF’s airborne optical communication program and SDA’s Transport and Tracking layer constellations. He earned his Electrical Engineering degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and MBA degree from Santa Clara University.
